Cabinet lias fixed June 19 as the date for the official opening of tlie new railway station at AA’ellington. and tlie ceremony is to he performed by the Governor-General, Lord Galway, at 10.30 a.rn. This announcement was made h.v tlie Minister of Railways, Hou. D G. Sullivan. to-day, who said lie believed the station was destined to be tlie most important centre of the Dominion’s transport.
