£500 REFUSED
Irish Attitude To Coronation The Irish Free State Government proposes to ignore a chance of pocketing at least £5OO by letting the windows it- possesses in Piccadilly Circus. Fifty people could watch the coronation procession from the offices of the Free State High Commissioner, Mr. John W. Dulanty, in Piccadilly House. They offer a line view; are less than 30ft' above ground level; have splendid balconies. But the Free State Government has already refused an invitation to be represented on the Dominions Coronation Commission. In these circumstances, it is apparently felt that to make money out of the spectacle would not bo dignified.
