Patrick Norman Carroll, aged 39. a married man resident at Mount Eden suffered head injuries, a double fracture of the rigid, arm. ami lacerations "f the body. He was admitted to bos pital in a very .serious condition. The injured man is a clerk who was acting as gatekeeper.
