Territorials at Large Shell Practice.-—Pictures taken during large shell practice at a Royal New Zealand Artillery training base. The photographs at the left, looking down on gnu emplacements, were taken concurrently with the firing of the guns. The top picture at the light shows a wireless "dump” with field aerial erected, and the lower one, taken at Hie actual in moment of firing, shows many of the gun crew in their positions, and the smoke commencing to curl back from the muzzle.
