BODY FOUND ON ROCKS
Evidence of Accidental Death By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, April 16. The body of George Illingworth, aged 66, retired postmaster, was found in the harbour at Harrington Point yesterday by a signalman a_t the heads. Mr. Illingworth, who lived at Macandrew’s Bay, had been stopping in a crib at Harrington Point and was in the habit of fishing oil the wharf there. The body was on the rocks near the wharf. There were cuts on the head and the neck appeared broken. It is thought that these injuries were caused by a fall down some steps below the wharf. An inquest was opened and adjourned.
