ESPERANTO CLUB

Notwithstanding the holiday, there was a good attendance of members on Easter Monday at the weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club. Mr. Bertram Potts, who presided, announced that the club hail sent greetings to Esperanto clubs in Holland, Sweden, Lithuania, and Czechoslovakia. Greetings were received from clubs in Canada, France and Hungary, and general correspondence from Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Ceylon. Four classes were organised, and tuition occupied the entire evening. Satisfactory progress was reported. The programme next week will be in the hands of the president, when a special cast will present an original melodrama in Esperanto, entitled “Adiau, Little Puddlehampton.”
