At the request of the Khandallah Progress Association, supported by the Ngaio Progressive Association, the Railways Department has commenced to run a bus from Wellington to Johnsonville, via Ngaio and Khandallah, leaving the city at 12.30 a.m. on Sunday. It was stated at a meeting of the Ngaio body last night that the bus had been so successful that all the wouldbe passengers could not be carried the first time the bus ran early on Sunday morning.
