MEN BACK AT WORK

Dispute With Trawling Company By Telegraph—Press Association, Auckland, April 1. A settlement was effected to-day in the dispute over working conditions among eight men engaged ashore to discharge cargo from the fishing vessels of Sanford Limited and who refused to unload the trawler James Cosgrove when she berthed on Wednesday night. The workers have decided to join an auxiliary of the waterside Workers’ Union, and their conditions will be considered in Conciliation Council at a future date. Ten other employees engaged to coal trawlers also refused to work to-day until the result of the conference was announced, when all the men involved Ju the dispute returned to work.
