N.Z. Junior Tournament Concluded MIXED DOUBLES TITLE The New Zealand junior lawn tennis championships were concluded yesterday ou the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association’s grounds at Miramar, witli the completion of the mixed doubles event. The semi-finals and final were played in a strong northerly wind, which rendered accurate play very difficult, and at times impossible. The final was won decisively by H. D. Gyles and Joan Forrester, of Wellington. Following are the results: — MIXED DOUBLES. Fourth round: Moffatt and Armstrong beat Donkin and McGaskey, 6-1, 6-4: Gyles and Forrester beat Burns and Marr, 6-1. 6-4; Satchell and Monkman beat Gair and James, 5-6, 6-2, 6-3; Hamilton and Meier beat Johns and Olphert by default; Laidlaw and Kerr beat Heather aud P. Quilter. 6-1, 64; Wallace and Wade beat Painter and Nicholls, 6-5, 6-2. Semi-finals: Gyles and Forrester beat Moffatt and Armstrong, 6-1, 6-1; Wallace and Wade beat Satchell aud Monkman, 6-3, 6-3. Final: Gyles and Forrester beat Wallace and Wade, 6-1, 6-3. INTER-COLLEGE MATCH Scots v. St. Patrick’s, Silverstream Tennis teams from St. Patrick's College, Silverstream, met teams from Scots College ou Wednesday afternoon, senior teams playing at Silverstream and junior teams at Scots. A strong wind did not favour good tennis. Silverstream wou all four senior singles aud each college won one doubles match. Honours were even in the junior singles. each college winning three, and Silverstream won two junior doubles to Scots’ one. Detailed results are as follows:— Junior Singles. \ J. Senior Singles. Riwai (Silverstream) beat Potiki (Scots), 6-3, 4-6, 6-0. Larsen (Silverstream) beat Lamberg (Scots), 6-1, 6-1. Baker (Silverstream) beat "Wall (Scots), 6-5, 6-1. Rowles (Silverstream) beat Manov (Scots), 6-1, 6-4. Senior Doubles. Potiki and Lamberg (Scots) lost, to Riwai and Larsen (Silverstream). 5-6. 6-3. 4-6. Hoare and Roberts (Silverstream) beat Wall and Mauoy, 6-4, 6-2.

Wellington Association’s Inter-club Matches The following fixtures have been set down for Saturday in tbe Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's inter-club matches:— First division men, at 11 a.m.: Newtown A v. Wellington A. Second division men: Wellington v. Ngahoa. Third B men: Hataitai B v. Miramar O; Te Ope v. St. Peter's. Third B women: Roseneath v. Hataitai; South Wellington v. Lyall Bay A. The first division men’s match will be played at: 11 a.m., and the other matches in the afternoon.
