Due Auckland Sunday The Federal Company has received a wireless message from the Cumberland, en route from Liverpool, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at 11 a.m. on Sunday. She will later complete discharge at Wellington-, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, and is due here about April 12. Wairuna Reports The Union Company has received a wireloss message from the Wairuna, en route from Eos Angeles, via Papeete, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at 6 a.m. to-morrow. She will later complete discharge at Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia, and is due here on April 9. DORIC STAR CLEARS BALBOA. Cabled advice has been received by the Blue Star Line that the Doric Star, en route from London to Auckland and Wellington, cleared Balboa last Tuesday. She is due at Auckland on Apjli 20. MARAMA LEAVES MELBOURNE. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the Marama left Melbourne on Wednesday for Bluff, Dunedin. Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Bluff ou Sunday and here on April 8, and will then withdraw from the service. The Marama has, for South Island ports, transhipments ex Comorin, Strathaird, Otranto, Roxen, Aludra, Nirvana and Parrakoola. PORT DARWIN’S DEPARTURE. Further delayed at Auckland, the Port Line steamer Port Darwin, is now to clear that port finally to-morrow afternoon for Southampton and London, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. ARAWA’S “ALL WELL.” The Shaw„ Savill Company has received a wireless message from its liner Arawa, reporting she has experienced fine weather—all well on board. The Arawa left Wellington on March 27, for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal, Kingston and Curacao. SYDNEY STAR SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading the Blue Star Line motor-ship Sydney Star cleared Lyttelton yesterday for London, via the Panama Canal. AWATEA’S MOVEMENTS. The Union Company’s liner Awatea, from Wellington, is due at Sydney this morning. She will leave there again later today for Wellington, is due here next Monday morning, and will leave again on the following day on the return trip to Sydney. THE MARIPOSA. The Matson liner Mariposa, from Melbourne and Sydney, is due at Auckland tomorrow morning. She will leave there again later the same day for Suva. Pago Pago, Honolulu, Los Angeles and San Francisco. ARAHURA NO CARGO TO-DAY. Owing to the waterside workers at Nelson holding their picnic to-morrow, the Nelson ferry steamer Arahura will not receive cargo at Wellington to-day. CHIFUKU MARU IN PORT. To continue discharge of her Japanese cargo, the Y.K.K. Line steamer Chifuku Maru was due in the stream at Wellington early this morning from Auckland, and will'berth at the King’s Wharf. She is to leave here qgain to-morrow ior Lyttelton, Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru, to discharge and load, is due back here on April 15 and is to clear this port finally on April 16 for Japanese ports. Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd. are the local agents. NIAGARA AT HONOLULU. The C.-A. liner Niagara, from Sydney and Auckland, is due at Honolulu to-day and at Vancouver on April 9. LIMERICK AT SAN PEDRO. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that its motor-ship Limerick, from Papeete, reached San Pedro at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. She is to load at Pacific Coast ports this month, clearing Los Angeles on April 27 for Papeete, Rarotonga, Auckland, Wellington Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia, aud is due at Auckland on May 25. MARINE EXAMINATIONS. The following are the results of engineers* examinations conducted recently by the Marine Department:—First-class motor engineer, Messrs. A. Crumbley and T. 11. Lawton; second-class engineer, Messrs. H. Hum and A. R. McLeod; firstclass oil engineer, Messrs. W. G. Smith .and A. M. McCallum; second-class oil engineer, Messrs. J. Black, R. Margison, N. T. Gatman, W. W. Waugh, and E. A. Sorensen: restricted limits oil engiueer, Messrs. W. J. Champion, R. H. McLeod, and P. M. W. Burden.
