Parliamentary Party Visiting England

Sir, —o u reading to-day’s “Dominion” we were amazed and delighted to see the long list of the official Parliamentary party who are visiting England. It is most broadminded of the Labour Party, and one can only congratulate them on being able to see that their attitude in the past has been so mistaken. We were also surprised to see that various ladies are accompanying the party. As conservatives we have always considered this an excellent thing, because we feel that New Zealand wives are our best ambassadors, but it is positively startling to find such a complete reversal of opinion among those who are now in authority. Again we congratulate them on so bravely casting aside their former narrow views.—l am, etc., A TAXPAYER WHO IS HELPING TO PAY FOR THEIR JOURNEY. Taupo, March 30.
