Tennis at Forest Hills
Philadelphia, March 31
Mr. Samuel Collain, former president of the United States Lawn Tennis Association, in a statement criticising the organisation for centring important tournaments in New York, declared; — “The Australian Davis Cup authorities are deeply concerned at the choice of Forest Hills. Sproule, Crawford and McGrath are unanimous in condemning Forest Hills.” They bad declared that the court surfaces were inferior, be said.
