Achievements Reviewed hi Reichstag Address CO-OPERATION WANTED Speaking recently in the Reichstag oil the fourth anniversary of the establishment of Nazi power in Germany, Herr Hitler said: “Our revolution has been a revolution of revolutions. "Does.” he asked, "a non-glorious and more beautiful Socialism or a truer democracy exist than National Socialism which enables every German boy to find his way to the head of the nation? "This is no theory,” he added. "I myself have come this way, and all the millions of German workmen know that at the helm of the Reich there is no foreign intellectual or international revolutionary, but a German from their own ranks.” "To-day you must admit that I have fulfilled my promises,” lie declared. "In the past four years we have increased German production in all branches. "The Four-year Plan will give permanent employment to these workmen who are now being released from the armament industry.” lie announced that there would be ii ( > strikes in Germany or any more lock-outs, because everyone had to serve the interests of the entire nation. The Versailles Treaty was at an end, he declared, adding: "I solemnly withdraw above all the German signature from that declaration which was enforced from a weak Government against its better judgment that Germany was responsible for the war. Restoration of Honour.

"The restoration of the honour of the German people which expressed itself outwardly iu the introduction of conscription, the creation of a new Air Force, the building up of a new navy, tlie reoccupation of the Rhineland by our troops, was the most difficult and the most audacious task and work of my life. "I must meekly thank Providence ou this day 'Whose grace enabled me —a former soldier of the World War —thus to reconquer for our nation its honour and integrity. "That I carried out the necessary action without asking or even informing our former opponents was due to the realisation that this would only make it easier for the other side to accept our decisions, which they would have to have done in any case.

“I should like to add, however, that thus the time of so-called surprises has been ended.”

After expressing readiness for European co-operation Herr Hitler said; "Isolation is the one danger to Germany.

"1 solemnly declare that between Germany and France there can be no point of dispute at all as far as is humanly conceivable. "Germany has given Belgium and Holland assurances that she regards them as inviolable and neutral regions for all time.” Fighting Bolshevism. Herr Hitler declared Bolshevism would be fought with all the means in Germany's power. It was unthinkable that German soldiers would ever fight for a Bolshevist country. He went on

"Three times I have made concrete offers for armament restrictions, or at least armament limitations. These offers were rejected. "May 1 remind you that the greatest offer 1 have made in the past was that Germany and France should reduce their armies to 300,000 men, that Germany. England and France shoujd bring down their air weapon to an equal level; and that Germany and England should conclude a naval agreement. Only the latter part was a coopted.

"Geimany." concluded Herr Hitler, “has no colonial claims on countries which have taken no colonies from her.

"Germany has no interests in the Mediterranean beyond economic ones. 'Germany will never again sign a contract compatible with German honour which she will not keep.”
