CURSE OF A SACRED BONE

To Be Restored to Tomb

London, March 29.

“The Times” says that Lady Seton, wife of Sir Alexander Seton, of Edinburgh, is going to Egypt shortly to replace a “sacred” bone, which is believed to carry a Pharaoh’s curse, in the tomb from which it was removed. Glassware was inexplicably smashed and the visitors’ servants complained of seeing a mysterious robed spectre wandering about the corridors at night time. Sir Alexander Seton has received 80 offers for the bone, but has refused to sell it because he is determined that nobody else shall inherit his misfortunes.
