RACING MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED

The motor-cyclist Steve Langton, of Brisbane, competing for the first time in England at the ilackneywick speedway, struck an opponent’s back wheel when travelling at 40 miles an hour, swung across the track and smashed through the safety- fence. He was knocked unconscious and also is suffering from leg injuries.
