James Braddoek, world heavyweight, boxing champion, accepted a summons at Newark to appear before the Fed-, eral Court to answer a Madison Square Garden suit requiring him to show cause why he should not be required to fight Joe Louis unless the latter meets the German, Max Schmeling. first. The New York State commission has approved a title bout between Braddock and Ambers at Montreal on April 5.
