DEATH TOLL ELEVEN
Good Friday Accidents In New South Wales (Received March 27, 1.10 /urn.) Sydney, March 26. The death roll in motoring accidents in New South Wales to-day was 11. The worst accident occurred at the Botany suburb, where six were killed when a taxi-cab collided head-on with a tramcar moving in the opposite direction. The victims were the taxi-driver, Harold Bennett, 40; Mrs. Amelia Nicholas, 23, and her baby daughter; Thelma Philpott, 20; and two infants aged 14 and 12 months, one of which was the daughter of another passenger, Mrs. Edith Nicholas, 28, who was critically injured.
