WELLINGTON EXCHANGE Thursday’s Quotations The latest buying and selling quotations recorded on Thursday on the Wellington Stock Exchange were as follows:— N.Z. GOVT. LOANS.

Canterbury Produce Markets By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, March 26. The grain and produce markets have been very quiet this week, the usual state immediately before the Easter holiday. Deliveries of most lines have fallen off and there is no great interest in any section. The demand for fowl wheat has been rather easier, but it is still large enough to absorb all that is offering. The price remains at 5/3 f.o.b. Milling wheat is not coming in nearly as freely as it was last week as farmers who have stacked are waiting for the increment which will go on. to the price on April 1. A fair quantity of wheat threshed from the stack has been seen and the quality is a great improvement on earlier deliveries. 1 here has been rather more interest in forward potatoes, but little business is passing. Quotations remain unchanged at £3 a ton on trucks for April-May "delivery. Chaff is at present scarce and the market is firm. There has been no change in the small seeds market.
