Harbour Lights Guild
Mrs. D. A. Ewen lent her lovely home and garden at Belmont on Tuesday afternoon, when the Ladies’ Harbour Lights Guild held a garden party for the benefit of the Missions to Seamen. The garden was looking its best in the glorious sunshine, and the flowers were greatly admired and appreciated. Afternoon tea was enjoyed indoors, being served in the reception hall, drawing-room and diningroom. Those who kindly conveyed guests to Belmont in their ears were: Mrs. C. P. H. Davidson, Mrs. Graham Robertson, Mrs. David Aitkin, Mrs. Walter Blundell, Mrs. Harley Brown, Mrs. Watt, Mrs. Hayman, Mrs. and Miss Henderson, Mrs. E. Cooke, Mrs. Newton, Mrs. Briton Smith, Miss Didsbury, Miss Moya Hempton, Miss Muriel Wylie, Miss Gyles.
