HIGH PRICE FOR EWES

The highest price for flock ewes in Canterbury for some years was paid yesterday when 161 two-tooth Corriedales were sold on account of Cochrane brothers and realised 52/6 a head. The ewes were a particularly good line, part of a flock of 781 which overaged over £2 a head.
