M. Leon Blum Wins Vote of Confidence in Chamber

(Received March 25, 1.15 a.m.) Paris, March 24. Rejecting by 371 votes to 208 the proposal for a Parliamentary Commission to inquire into the Clichy disorders the Chamber of Deputies at 6 a.m. passed a vote of confidence in the Prime Minister, M. Leon Blum, by 362 votes to 215. M. Blum’s speech Is considered to have been the best reasoned of his career.
