Students Take Charge.— The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, when he visited Massey College, Palmerston North, on Tuesday, was the honoured subject of a good-natured burlesque reception by the students. His car having been stopped at the main gate, Mr. Savage was transported (as shown here) in a wheelbarrow of modern caterpillar design a portion of the way to the buildings, later being driven the remaining distance in a decorated agricultural dray. The students had assumed truly rural garb, and were carrying all manner of primitive farming implements.
