GOLF COMPETITIONS

Manor Park Chib The following are the competitions to be played on the Manor Park golf links on next Saturday and Sunday: An 18-hole stroke competition will be played on Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday an 18-hole bogey match in the morning and a four-ball bogey match in the afternoon. The committee request old members, to partner new members as much ha possible in Saturday’s competition. Manor Park Ladies’ Club A fourball best-ball bogey competition will be played by the Manor Park Indies’ club on Saturday, partners to he arranged at the clubhouse. Entries will be received immediately so that play may commence after Easter for the Yankee fourball competition, players on earned handicaps only being eligible. On Sunday entries will close for the Easter tournament. Tui Glen Ladies’ Club 'J’he following is the draw for a Canadian foursome to be played by the Tui Glen ladies’ club on Sunday: Mrs. Pope and Miss Thompson v. Mrs. Gray and Mrs. Davison. Airs. Latta and Mrs. Purdie v. Miss AVest and Mrs. McKinnon, Miss Clark and Miss Stickings v. Mrs. Swinburne and Miss Ramsay, Miss Hutchins and Mrs. Moffatt v. Miss Greig and Miss Draper, Miss Wolland and Mrs. Young v. .Mrs. Tilyard and Mrs. Sutherland. Players arriving after 10 a.m. are not eligible to play in competitions and must arrange their own partners.

Watt Cup Fixtures The annual meeting of Watt Cup delegates was held on Tuesday, when Mr. A. S. T. Butler (Manor Park) presided over a full attendance of delegates from the competing clubs —Packakariki, Manor Park, Waiwetu, Shandon, and Titahi. The following programme was drawn up for the season’s engagements:—April 17: Shandon v. Manor Park, at Shandon. May 1: Wniwetu v. Shandon, at 'Waiwetu; Titahi v. Packakariki, at Paekakariki. May 15: Shandon v. Packakariki, at Pnekaknriki. June 5: Pnekaknriki v. Manor Park, at Packakariki; Titahi v. Waiwetu, at Wniwetu. June 12: Manor Park v. Titahi, at Titahi. June 26: Waiwetu v. Manor Park, at Manor Park. July 10: Packakariki v. Waiwetu, at Waiwetu. July 17: Shandon v. Manor Park, at Manor Park. July 24 : Packakariki v. Titahi, at Titahi. July 31 : Tifalii v.
