Rush of Travellers at Easter EXTRA STEAMER SAILINGS Passenger bookings for Easter in the three inter-island steamer services are heavier this year than has been the case for a number of years, and to accommodate the rush of travellers, extra sailings have been arranged in all three services.

in the Wellington-Lyttelton service the Wahine will make a daylight sailing from Wellington next Thursday, March 25, and the Rangatira will make a daylight sailing from Lyttelton on the same day, while in order to allow the vessels to regain their normal running, the Wahine will leave Wellington on Sunday, March 28, the Rangatira leaving Lyttelton on the same evening for Wellington.
