REPERTORY SUCCESS
J. R. Priestley’s “Eden End” A capacity house greeted the second performance of J. B. Priestley's "Eden End." by the Wellington Repertory The* atre in the Concert Chamber last night, and thoroughly enjoyed the fine team work and individual performances of the cast. Miss Mollie Brown was admirable in the difficult role of Lilian Kirby, and Miss Helen Gardner gave a satisfying performance as the emotional Stella. The Dr. Kirby of Mr. Ernest Le Grove was n sound piece of work, while the light and airy flipnancy of Appleby was capitally portrayed by Mr. Selwvn Toogood. I’he part of 'Wilfred Kirby was well done by Mr. Brian McCawe. Mr. T. V. Anson was as effective as usual as Geoffrey Farrant, and the Sarah of Mrs. C. Anderson was the best servant characterisation seen for a long time. The success of the production reflects credit on the producer. Mr. W. S. Wauchop. “Eden End" will be played up till and including Saturday evening.
