Bottomley Thrashed

As the result of a personal grievance, Mr. Aubrey Lowe severely thrashed Mr. Horatio Bottomley in the Strand, London. Bottomley deelined to prosecute, although challenged to do so. Lowe, who is well known in the West End, twice knocked Bottomley down. Lowe states that the quarrel commenced a year ago in Edinburgh during the pantomime season. The "Daily Express” states that Bottomley had been dining at Romano’s restaurant with Peggy Primrose, who was the mistress of Aubrey Lowe.
The death is announced in London of General Sir Alexander Taylor, K.C.8., at the age of 86. He was the last survivor of' the assault on Delhi in the Indian Mutiny.
