CRUISING LINERS
Oronsay and Maunganui This Morning
Two cruising liners are due at Wellington this morning, the Oronsay and Mangaunui. The Orient liner Oronsay, of 20,000 tons, on a cruise from Sydney and Brisbane, via Auckland, is due at about 8 o’clock and will berth at the Pipitea Wharf. The Oronsay brought about BSO tourists, a number of whom left the ship at Auckland, and coming overland, will rejoin her at Wellington today. The Oronsay will leave Wellington about 6 p.m. to-day for Sydney. The Union Company’s liner Maunganui. which left Wellington last Thursday night on a cruise to the West Coast Sounds, was to have spent last night in Pelorus Sound, and is due back at Wellington about 9.30 o’clock this morning. She will berth at the Taranaki Street Wharf.
