Wellington Kennel Club Meeting
Arrangements for its golden jubilee show, to be held at the Winter Show Buildings on March 3 and 4. were discussed at a meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Kennel Club. Mr. D. 11. Edra.r presiding. This annual dog show is open to all breeds and to all-corners —special cups and trophies being open in addition to members of the club to the New Zealand Collie Club, the New Zealand Cocker Spaniel Club, the Wellington District Coeker Spaniel Club, the Wellington Bulldog Club, the South Island Bulldog Chib, the Dominion Setter Club, the Hutt Valley Kennel Club, the Dominion Irish Terrier Club, and the New Zealand Toy Dog Club. Arrangements are being made for at least 400 dogs being entered. In order to ensure the efficient running of the show, it was decided to increase the committee membership by two— .l. E. Barke and A. W. Cullen being elected. The Wellington -Bulldog Club was "ranted permission to hold a ribbon parade on Saturday, April 3.
