Rare Elower.—At present in bloom in a hot-house nursery at Palmerston North is this specimen of Frangipani, or Temple Flower, as it is known in India (plumieria acutifolia). Discovered in 1790 in Mexico, it is now grown in most tropical countries, but is very rare in New Zealand.
