SUGAR CONFERENCE
(British Official Wireless.) Kiigby, February 4. The international conference on the production of and commerce in sugar is to open in London on April 5. Delegations are attending from Germany, South Africa. Australia. Belgium. United Kingdom. Canada, China. Cuba. United States. France. Hungary. India. Italy, Japan, Holland, Peru, Poland Portugal. Dominican Republic. Russia, and Yugoslavia The League of Nations announces that a special committee, including Sir Frederick Lithgow, of the British Treasury, is preparing the agenda for the conference.
