Au enterprising bicycle tour of New South Wales and Victoria has been completed by a young South Island man, Mr. A. McQ. White, who, after spending six months in Australia, is now continuing his cycle tour in the South Island, accompanied by his brother, Mr. J. M. White. Mr. White said in Temuka that' having now covered more than 6000 miles of the tour, suffered the customary breakdowns, and worked at harvesting and shearing at the different places he has visited, he is quite satisfied that his method of travel provides a much better opportunity to acquire a knowledge of different localities and to make contact with the people.
