Although the water was very chilly, events at the Petone Amateur Swimming and Life Saving Club on Thursday evening were keenly contested. In the water-polo match, Petone B beat Wellington B by five goals to one. May, Dugan, J. Cleland and Band were the scorers for Petone. and McLean for Wellington. Mr. W. Bousfield was referee.
