Wanganui and Wellington Clubs Compete MANY CLOSE FINISHES Dominion Special Service. Wanganui. December 13. Athletic events of a high order were witnessed at Cook s Gardens last night, when the Wanganui versus Wellington inter-club contest took place for the Falkiner Cup and Jubilee Banner, Saunders Memorial Trophy and the Bramwell Memorial Cup. Although the points gained by each centre will not be finalised until next week, Wanganui retained its hold of all trophies, meeting keen competition with the extra dash required for victory.
