If only for its ambition aud enterprise the Wellington Repertory Theatre Society deserves commendation . for giving the capital city an opportunity of seeing Sir James Barrie’s immortal comedy "Peter Pan.” In order that the production should be staged to the best advantage J. C. Williamson Ltd. volunteed their co-oper-atjpn. The box plans are being heavily booked at the D.1.G., but as the New Opera House has a capacity greater than most of the London theatres those who attend at a reasonable hour should have no difficulty in obtaining seats. "Peter Pan” will have its premiere to-morrow night commencing promptly at 7.45. and it will be repeated until the following Monday. On Saturday next and the following Monday a matinee will be given commencing promptly at 2 p.m. The management wish to make it quite clear that children under 14 will be admitted to the gallery at all performances for one shilling and to the dress circle and stalls at half the adult charges. The .Mieses Pauline Shetlander, Irene Spidy, Kirsty Page, Messrs. Carl Watson, Ralph Hogg. Evan Harrowell and Myles Wright will be assisting at the back of the stage. Miss Estelle Bcero is directing a unique ballet in the fairyland scene, and Mrs. McDonald will lead an orchestra which will be conducted by Mr. .1. F. Woodward.
