MINORITIES IN IRAQ
Assurance of Protection (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, December 7. Asked in the House of Commons as to the position and safety of Assyrians and Jews in Iraq, the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, stated that the Iraqi Government had formally declared that it had every intention of ensuring the welfare and protection of all minorities. From such information as he had been able to obtain this was being fully carried out.
