INJURED BY FALLS

A number of people were injured by falls yesterday and were taken to hospital by the Wellington Free Ambulance. A waterside worker. J. Coughlan,. of 75 Wright Street, fell while shifting trucks at 6.20 p.m., and dislocated his left shoulder. Mrs. V. Bailey, of 53 Waipapa Road, Hataitai, fractured her right arm by a fall at 5.45 p.m. When he slipped oft a radiator and fell on a box at the Government Printing Office during the morning, 11. Gray, a paper ruler, of 34 Torridon Road, Miramar, sustained an injury to his back and shock.

As a result of falling on a tree stump a schoolboy, Ronald fluxford, of <5 Houghton Bay Road, received a lacerated wound in the knee.

Railing down stairs nt his home at 1.20 n.m., J. F. Ambleton, of 7C> Ghuznee Street, seaman, received contused wounds about the head.
