RECORD PLACEMENTS
1112 During Last Week The weekly totals of men’placed in employment by the National Placement Service continue to climb. During the week ended last Saturday another new record of 1112 was established, seven in excess of the previous week’s record. An encouraging feature is that permanent placements consistently account for more than half the totals. The following figures give details of the operations of placement offices
