Vice-Regal. The Governor-General presided at a meeting of t.he Executive Council yesterday morning. Lady Galway was present at and opened the Dominion Conference of the League of Mothers yesterday. Mrs. Nora Edwards, London (honorary member Toe II League of Women Helpers) was the guest of their Excellencies at lunch at Government House yesterday. In the afternoon Lord and Lady Galway paid a visit to Lower Hutt, where his Excellency formally opened the Hutt Valley Horticultural Society’s summer show. Mr. G. R. Ritchie and Mr. C. W. Rattray, directors of the Union Steam Ship Company, arrived at Wellington yesterday from Dunedin.
