TROTTING AT SHOW
Future Possibility at I Palmerston North 1 Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, November 17. Trotting at Addington, Christchurch, on the same day as the principal day of of the show, was considered definitely detrimental to the show, reported the secretary of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association (Mr. It. Kissling), on the recent Royal Show at Addington, to to-diiy’s meeting of the general committee. Exhibitors he spoke to showed keen interest in the 1937 Royal Show at Palmerston North, and lie was confident of a good South Island entry. Mr. J. A. Mitchell (Lougburn) said that if the trotting was detrimental to ■ the show attendance, then it. meant that I when, as he understood it would be. trot- ! ting was introduced at Palmerston North I shows, the association would have this I great attraction on its grounds.
