He is in great shape" for the Waikato Cup. A. Parsons will ride him. Lady Kyra beat Bonny Glow a length over five furlongs in 1.7 2-5. Lady Kyra could have done better. On the plough High Test ran five furlongs evenly in 1.8. His Te Rapa prospects appear bright. Mowgli and Tahurangi ran the last three furlongs of a round in 40. Aussie Ra and Davistock were on terms at the end of six furlongs in 1.16 4-5. Both went well. At Te Rapa L. Clifford will ride High Test, Royal Dance and Haputale; R. W. Savage. Gay Papa, Mustang. Tradesman and Blue Needle; L. Dulieu, Te Huia and Brown Lap.
