EVADED CAPTURE IN RAID
Men Appear Voluntarily in Court By Telegraph—Frees Association. Auckland, November 17. Two men who escaped by jumping from a window to a roof, a distance of 20 feet, when two-up premises were raided in Swanson Street on Friday night, Nicholas Jack Logpur, aged 44, picture framer, and Jack Marino, aged 38. beauty parlour employee, appeared voluntarily and pleaded guilty at the Magistrate's Court this morning. Each was fined £2. Logpur broke a leg in the jump, but It was a wooden one.
