« Bulk Store in Adelaide Road For the last S 3 years the site of the old horse-drawn tram depot in Adelaide Road, Wellington, has been unoccupied. A great part of it is at length to be used, the property having been sold to Selfridges, Ltd., a general merchandising firm which is about to begin business in New Zealand, as a site for the erection of a bulk store. This store will have three street frontages, two of 144 feet and one of 123 feet.

Mr. Norman R. Lightbody has been instructed to prepare plans of a building for the economic handling of goods and one which he considers will he best suitable for the demands of a business such as Selfridges, Ltd.
