S.M.. to-day, to Stanley Richard Newman, mill hand, who b.v a coincidence wheji he stole a cycle lamp from the Technical School grounds yard one night took one belonging to a fellow employee who recognised it in his possession a few davs later. Newman was fined £1 and costs for the theft of the lamp, which belonged to Francis Lunn. Senior-Ser-geant T. Moriarty prosecuted.
