KINDERGARTEN BENEFIT
There wns a large audience at Prince Edward Theatre, 'Woburn, on Wednesday evening, when an excellent variety concert was presented in aid of the Lower Hutt Free Kindergarten. Tlte programme included vocal, instrumental, dancing, and humorous numbers. The items were:—Overture, Jim Bolton’s band; ballroom scene, Eva Draper’s pupils; song, Mary Jepson ; humorous number, J. Evans; tap dance, Heather AV right; Hawaiian songs, Mona and Tipi Love; saxophone solo, Hugh Bolton; ventriloquist, C. Burridge; tenor solo, Mr. Bayes; acrobatic routine, Heather Wright; song, Alma Milward; Hawaiian songs, Mona and Tipi Love; humorous item, J. Evans; tenor solo, Mr. Bayes; eccentric routine, Heather W right; song, .Mary Jepson; saxophone solo, Hugh Bolton; song, Alma Milward ; comedy routine. Heather Wright; instrumental item, Bolton’s band. The kindergarten funds will appreciably benefit as a result.
