OBITUARY
Mr. C. G. Aickin Mr. Casement Gordon Aickin, one of Auckland’.? best-known surgeons, who had been ill for a. week at his residence in Symonds Street, died of pneumonia shortly after midnight on Thursday morning, an Auckland Press Association message states. Mr. Aickin had a brilliant academic career at Auckland University College. Fie graduated at Otago University, in 1909, and gained a fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, London, in 1911. During the Great War he was on the New Zealand General Hospital Staff, London. He leaves a widow, two sons and one daughter.
