Salvation Army Appeal
Sir, —On behalf of the Aged Men's Retreat, Wallaeeville, kindly permit me to appeal through your paper to your many readers to help us with reading matter such as books, magazines, illustrated papers, ete. These may be left with Hazelwood and Co., Upper Hutt, or Sal-> vation Army Book Shop, Cuba Street, Wellington, or the retreat itself, telephone 223. As the festive season will soon be upon us, we also appeal to the generosity of our friends- to remember us and to assist with cash or gifts of any kind. —I am, etc., MAJOR H.
