MINISTERS’ SONS IN PUBLIC SERVICE
President’s Statement To investigate the resentment which is reported to exist over the appointment of Cabinet Ministers’ sons to positions in the Public Service, Mr. T. Pound, Wellington, Dominion president of the New Zealand Public Service Association, left for Christchurch last night.
Mr. Pound said yesterday that from inquiries he had already made lie was satisfied’ the association had no cause for complaint. However, before making any statement he preferred to investigate the matter in Christchurch.
