Tournament at Wanganui

Wanganui, October 6.
The Wanganui veterans’ golf tournament concluded to-day with a fourball bogey match, which was.won by S. Powdrell and C. Walker, and a Stableford bogey match, which S. Powdeell and E. E. Porritt won. L. E. Bassett was the winner of tne championship and two other competitions A troplij- for the visitor with the best score in to-day’s rounds was presented to R. E. Godwin. At the conclusion of the tournament a meeting was held, and it was decided to hold a tournament on the same lines next year.
