BRITISH SAILORS’ SOCIETY «■ Another enjoyable entertainment was given at the rooms of the British Sailors' Society last week to a large and enthusiastic audience of seamen and friends, among whom were a number of seamen from the whaling ship Anglo Norse, by Miss Hazel Martin’s pupils. Solo dances were presented by Misses Jessie Beattie, Betty Paynter, Pat Anderson, Yvonne Black. Irene Davis, and Althea Patherick, and dance duos by Miss Judy Cooper and Keith Woollett. Miss Hazel Martin was the accompanist. At the conclusion of the programme a vote of thanks was carried with acclamation and supper was served by the workers.
