WRESTLING ON MONDAY
Some of the most notable, and certainly the most exciting, wrestling contests in Wellington this year have been thote in which “Lofty” Blomficld has been a participant, and another thrilling display is to be expected from the popular New Zealand champion when he has his first contest'with “Jumping Joe . feavoldi m the Town Hall on Monday night. Savoldi had not been long in the country before Blomficld recognised in him an opponent worthy of bis mettle and soon issued a challenge to the former world’s champion. The advantage of size and weight will be held by the New Zealander. The summary fashion in which he disiiosed of Bob Kruse last week showed that his elbows and forearms are working as well as ever and Savoldi will be in for a bad time if be should be caught in Bloiutield’s octopus clamp. From the Italian the spectators ean count on a characteristically colourful display, with the dropkick an ever-present danger to Bloiulield.
